Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

Schedule: Sunday–Saturday | 10- or 12-hour shifts | Days, evenings, or nights | 7 days/week

We're seeking qualified Paramedics for temporary full-time positions supporting the Nevada Test and Training Range at Nellis AFB, Nevada .

This is an excellent opportunity to provide emergency medical services in a specialized military environment, supporting patient transport, emergency response, and critical medical operations.

What You'll Do

Core Duties:

• Provide a full range of EMT and Paramedic services within the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) and supported geographical areas.
• Maintain proficiency in the operation of ambulance radio equipment.
• Monitor and operate ambulance radio equipment as required by operational circumstances.
• Provide patients with necessary and appropriate medical care during transport, consistent with available ambulance equipment and supplies and the Paramedic's certification, training, and experience.
• Rapidly stabilize patients according to Advanced Life Support (ALS) protocols and applicable EMS written protocols.
• Lift, position, and transport patients to receiving destinations for medical care.
• Place patients on monitors and administer IVs, oxygen, dressings, and other appropriate emergency medical interventions within the scope of certification and applicable protocols.
• Carry patient records, baggage, and personal belongings to the destination as necessary.
• Redress patient wounds and provide appropriate wound care.
• Document all treatment provided during patient transport.
• Control and properly dispose of medical waste generated during transport.
• Conduct routine restocking, cleaning, and disinfection of the vehicle, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure ambulances are safe to operate, sanitary, properly stocked, and functioning properly.

Nevada Test and Training Range / EOD Support:

• Provide medical support for detonation operations involving live munitions in accordance with AFMAN 32-3001 .
• Provide primary medical support for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operations on the Nevada Test and Training Range.
• Provide EMT-P support during intentional detonation operations involving high-explosive munitions.
• Comply with the current and subsequent revisions of AFMAN 32-3001 .
• Support Medical Group duties as secondary requirements.
• Travel as required to support Northern Range Operations (TTR-CA) .

What You'll Need — Mandatory Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience as an EMT, NREMT, NRAEMT, or NRP after graduation.

Education:

Certificate and graduation from an accredited NREMT program

Certification:

Must possess and maintain certification as an NREMT-P or National Registered Paramedic (NRP) through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

• Current ambulance driver's license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ALS certification required
• Current PALS certification required

Security: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a SECRET security clearance .
