Senior Project Manager

Leads cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution within scope, schedule, and budget. Applies advanced project management expertise to manage risks, resolve issues, and drive stakeholder alignment. Contributes to the development of project delivery standards and mentors less experienced project managers.ResponsibilitiesLead large-scale, cross-functional projects that deliver business value and support strategic prioritiesDevelop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource strategies aligned with business objectivesPartner with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business goals and delivery expectationsApply project management methodologies and tools to ensure consistent execution and governanceIdentify and mitigate project risks, issues, and interdependencies across workstreamsCoordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure integrated and timely project deliveryProvide regular project updates and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadershipEnsure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standardsServe as a point of escalation for project delivery challenges and facilitate resolutionMentor project managers and junior team members to build delivery capability and leadership depthFoster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementCollaborate with enabling functions to ensure business readiness and operational alignmentSupport initiative planning and contribute to project prioritization and resource planningRepresent the project management function in cross-functional forums and delivery strategy discussionsMay perform other duties as assignedQualifications5+ years of relevant project management experience, managing cross-functional business projects.2+ years of experience leading cross-functional projectsAdvanced knowledge of project management frameworks and tools used to deliver complex, cross-functional initiativesSignificant experience in managing high-impact projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and tight deadlinesProven ability to align project execution with business strategy, manage scope and risk, and ensure stakeholder satisfactionAdvanced skills in project planning, budgeting, and governance, with a focus on delivering value and mitigating delivery risksExperience with managing project teams, vendor relationships, and stakeholder communications across business unitsStrong ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse teamsAdvanced knowledge of performance metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement practicesBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceDesired QualificationsMaster's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of training, education, and experienceProfessional Certifications (e.g.,PMP, PgMP, or Lean/Agile certification)Experience with business process transformation or organizational change management is desirable.Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira) preferred.Additional InformationHours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PMLocation: 820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 221805510 Heritage Oaks Drive, Pensacola, FL 32526
