Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Participate in identifying and meeting learning needs of self and others
• Implement competent care based on professional standards and patient needs
• Assess and synthesize patient data to determine priorities for care
• Collaborate with patients/families to prepare or update plans of care
• Provide bedside point of care testing required for patient care plans
• Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
• One (1) year of nursing experience
• Nursing Diploma OR ADN/ASN from an accredited school of Nursing
