Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a California RN license, EPIC EMR experience, and night shift availability.

Details

• Float Pool unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours per week), 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved vendor required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty, with experience within the last 3 months

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to support a safe, healing environment
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members
• All required vaccinations must be up to date as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered
• No radius restriction applies; local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
