Media Relations Coordinator

As a member of Roland Corporation, the Media Relations Coordinator will focus on ensuring optimal support for strategic media relations planning and communications for global product launches, as well as for global corporate branding and partnership campaigns, with efficiency and professionalism. Strong writing and presentation skills, time management, attention to detail, the ability to multitask under deadline pressure, and an understanding of PR, media relations, and project management are key to effective performance. Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinating the preparation and sharing of key PR assets with outside PR agency for PR strategy planning, press kit coordination, press list management, etc. for product launch, branding, and partnership campaigns for Roland, BOSS, and V-MODA brands. Meeting scheduling with external PR agency, media, and internal stakeholders. Sample unit coordination, including procurement, shipping, tracking, and reconciliation of gear for reviews with media partners. Coordination and sharing of press coverage to enhance its visibility with key internal stakeholders/departments. Maintenance of master press lists. In-person and virtual trade show PR support. Updating launch and campaign trackers within project management software. Writing product summaries for one-sheets. Writing and copy-editing press releases for partnership and brand campaigns. Coordinating awards entry submissions and award logo licensing. Pay periods are bi-weekly.
