Position Summary Our members love shopping for fresh food because of the hard‑working, customer‑focused associates who keep shelves stocked and freezers clean. You will play a key role in maintaining the sanitary conditions and operations of freezers and coolers, as well as providing first‑line customer service in the deli. What you’ll do Maintains safety of Facility following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including safety sweeps, forklift spotting, hazardous material handling, steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintains the Sales Floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area in accordance with Company policies by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and completing required audits, paperwork, logs, and documentation. Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting the Company’s products and services. Follows Company policies and procedures related to the Freezer/Cooler area by complying with food handling policies, operating, repairing, and sanitizing equipment, following Cold Chain procedures when stocking merchandise, cleaning the area, monitoring equipment, and reporting issues to Management. You will make an impact by Ensuring high‑quality products are taken care of and available for members. Maintaining clean shelves, temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lower‑quality items. Packing ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
