Our organization is in search of a board-eligible or board-certified physician who has completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology. This role focuses on leading and enhancing a robust community-based program. The existing program provides patients with access to state-of-the-art minimally invasive and radical surgical options, chemotherapy, clinical trials, as well as comprehensive benign gynecology services, high-risk screening, survivorship programs, and clinics dedicated to sexual health and lifestyle.

We welcome candidates with experience and enthusiasm for clinical research, including clinical trials through pharmaceutical companies and cooperative groups, as well as outcomes-based research. Proficiency in advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques is highly desirable. The ideal applicant will be eager to contribute to a well-established oncology program located in the northwest suburbs, joining the medical staff at our facilities in Huntley and McHenry.

Program Infrastructure Support

The gynecologic oncology program is backed by a comprehensive infrastructure, including:

• A multidisciplinary team comprising medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and pathologists with specialized expertise.
• Collaboration with interventional radiologists, hematologists, surgical oncologists, thoracic and breast surgeons, general surgeons, and urologists.
• The primary clinic is situated in Huntley, IL.
• Hospital privileges at our Huntley and McHenry locations.
• A dedicated cancer program featuring palliative medicine specialists and support staff, including a gynecologic oncology nurse navigator, genetic counselors, dietitians, social workers, financial counselors, physical therapists, and specialists in pelvic floor and lymphedema care, along with access to the Living Well Cancer Resource Center.
• Support from committed inpatient and outpatient physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
• A multidisciplinary gynecologic oncology tumor board that convenes weekly, with teleconferencing capabilities among three cancer centers in the western region.
• Opportunities to engage in cooperative group and industry-sponsored clinical trials.
• A dedicated surgical ICU staffed with intensivists and hospitalists available 24/7.
• Access to advanced technology, including two Xi da Vinci robots, PET/CT, and 640-slice CT scanners.
• Clinical appointment opportunities at a prestigious medical school.
• Competitive salary range of $405,000 to $545,000.
