Packaging Associate

Packaging Associate Location: Camarillo, CA Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $17.00/hour Job Summary The Packaging Associate is responsible for supporting packaging line operations and performing general warehouse duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role helps ensure product quality, efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to company procedures and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Follow company guidelines for housekeeping, product protection, and personal hygiene Read and follow written instructions and standard operating procedures Remove finished products from conveyor lines and package according to specifications Palletize finished goods Load empty containers onto equipment, including unscramblers and infeed turntables Supply packaging materials to the production line Clear leftover components from packaging equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area Sweep, vacuum, and mop as needed Clean windows, carts, and equipment Assist Quality Control with batch release processes Verify lot numbers and expiration dates with the QC team Break down boxes and properly manage disposal Assist other departments as needed Perform additional packaging-related duties as assigned Qualifications Entry-level to intermediate experience; training provided Ability to read and follow instructions and procedures Strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment Equipment Used Pallet jacks Carts Packaging line equipment Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and pulling Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to maintain the required production pace of approximately 25–40 bottles per minute Comfortable wearing a full-face respirator when required Additional Requirements Must pass a background check and drug screening Willingness to work overtime as needed Must follow all safety and cleanliness procedures Must maintain a professional and dependable work attitude #J-18808-Ljbffr Advantage Business Services
