Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from SNI Companies Physician Assistant - General Surgery Practice Salary: $90K-$120K plus bonus opportunities Position Overview: The Physician Assistant will work closely with our surgeons, providing high-quality patient care across a variety of general surgery procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Open to new graduates. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments and history-taking during pre-operative and post-operative visits. Assist with surgeries as directed by the supervising surgeon, including preparation and closure of surgical sites. Perform minor surgical procedures and interventions, as appropriate. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as labs, imaging, and pathology reports. Provide post-operative care, including wound management, patient education, and follow-up care. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop patient care plans. Counsel patients and families on surgical procedures, risks, and recovery expectations. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice protocols and regulatory guidelines. Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development.
