Registered Nurse - Progressive Care

Position Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments - these guaranteed hours do not include any "on-call" time worked


Comments And Notes: BILH coversheet required at time of submission. 7p-7:30a, 12H nights, every other weekend. 2+ years of experience required. Must have NH or compact license in hand to submit. BSN preferred. BLS-AHA required. Travel experience required. Must be able to do hi flow or Bipap (respiratory equipment) Will be expected to care for, assess, evaluate patients with PCU level of care. PCU/IMCU unit. Level 3 trauma center. PCCN preferred. 1:4 patient ratio. 8 beds. Scheduling is put out every 6 weeks. NO self scheduling. Patient pop: Primary medical, resp failure, infections, CHF, arrythmias. Special Equipment: Chest tubes, epidurals, CAPD, NICO (Cheetah), Radial and Femoral compression devices post procedure, IV Pump: ICU Medical, Hi Flow: Vapotherm, Bipap: Philips, Cardiac Monitor: Philips, Infusions and some titrations (amiodarone, Cardizem, Lasix), preform and read EKGs, phlebotomy, start IV, care and maintenance of central lines, removal of central lines, assist in bedside procedures (Placing Chest tube, central line placement). Must be separated from BILH for 6+ months to be considered. No locals accepted within 50 mi.
