Your Role in Detail

• Conduct routine and complex tests within the clinical lab settingcovering areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morewhile following established guidelines.
• Carefully analyze results for precision, rectify errors, and perform essential maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory processes, guide new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining exceptional lab quality standards.
• Ensure your workspace is clean and safe, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent accredited allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your current certification throughout your tenure.
