Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to newborn patients in a Level III NICU setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer compassionate and comprehensive care to neonatal patients with complex needs.
• Monitor vital signs, respiratory status, and neurological condition, recognizing any signs of deterioration.
• Perform advanced clinical procedures including airway management, IV placement, and medication administration.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare team members to coordinate care plans.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio RN license or a Compact State RN license at the time of application.
• Possess a minimum of 12 months recent Neonatal Level III experience.
• Complete required certifications including BLS, PALS, and NRP, with active status.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Provide a recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months.
• Complete BCI/FBI background check within 48 hours of onboarding.
