Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to join our Commercial Services team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects.

Job Requirements

• Seek out work to bid to meet revenue expectations quarterly
• Build and prepare HVAC systems for buildings / design builds
• Prepare detailed HVAC estimates from drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs for equipment, ductwork, piping, and labor
• Analyze project requirements, scope, and risk to develop competitive bids
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and operations teams
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and value engineering
• Track bid submissions and maintain estimating databases and historical cost data
• Review change orders and assist with pricing revisions as needed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, materials, and installation methods
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously

Salary

$72,000 - $100,000 (annually)
