Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)LEOMINSTER PUBLIC SCHOOLSSamoset Middle School2026-2027 School YearFull Time, School YearEssential Functions:Serves as a member of a clinical team including the Principal, Special Education Teacher, General Education Teacher, Team Chairperson, related service providers.Train Tutors/Paraprofessionals so they can appropriately assist in the implementation of behavior plans.Qualifications:Master's degree and BCBA CertificationExtensive experience working with children and their familiesExperience working with children at the elementary level desiredExperience in completing Functional Behavior Assessments and developing behavior improvement plansExcellent listening, communication, and organizational skillsResponsibilities:Analyze available student data to help determine where, when, and why problem behaviors occur.Directly observe students and complete Functional Behavior assessments as requested by staff, according to established procedural guidelines.Define all target behaviors in objective and measurable terms and design an appropriate data collection system to measure the target behaviors.Integrate appropriate setting event, antecedent, teaching, and consequences strategies to reduce problem behavior and increase alternative replacement behaviors.Monitor the individual's behavior data and provide descriptive progress notes on a quarterly basis (or more frequently if needed).Conduct treatment fidelity assessments to ensure proper implementation of the behavior support plan.Review behavior data, meet and discuss with the appropriate staff member any discrepancies noted on the behavior data (e.g. lack of documentation, inappropriate restrictions or lack of appropriate consequences; situations in which the current behavior program or treatment approach were not followed appropriately.)Salary commensurate with related experience and education.Please submit cover letter, resume, transcripts and evidence of licensure.
