Sonographer - OB/Gyn

You’ll help deliver critical OB/GYN imaging services to women in underserved communities, working in close partnership with providers while supporting patients who rely on us for accessible, compassionate care. We welcome qualified candidates from across the U.S.; relocation allowance is available. This is a full-time 40 hour/week position. It may be split between the Toppenish Medical-Dental clinic and YVFWC OB/Gyn in Yakima (Rainier Place), at 20 hours/week at each site. What You’ll Do Perform ultrasound examinations unique to OB/GYN patients, i.e., pelvic ultrasound for aging and viability, nuchal thickness measurement for first-trimester screening, cervical lengths, anatomy scan, BPP, AFT, and all gynecologic/pelvic ultrasounds. Escort patients to examination rooms, interpret patient histories and perform diagnostic sonography examinations Manage physically/emotionally demanding work environment, respond to patient emergencies, and ensure patient safety and comfort Document patient information accurately and timely Liaise between patients and physicians as needed Utilize feedback for technique improvement and adherence to safety policies Provide support to clinical staff and perform other assigned duties Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred, but not required OBGYN experience preferred, but not required ARDMS OBGYN certification within 6 months of hire, CPR certification, NT certification preferred Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, ultrasound practice, and medical terminology Proficiency in operating desktop and Windows-based computer systems Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential information Our Mission Statement “Together we transform our communities through compassionate, individualized care, eliminating barriers to health and well-being.” Our mission celebrates inclusivity.
