CATERING SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

Position Catering Supervisor (Full time) – New England Bio Labs, 240 County Road, Ipswich, MA 01938. Schedule: Monday‑Friday 6:00 am – 2:30/3:00 pm. Pay range: $22.00–$29.00 per hour. Supervisory and catering experience required. Shift meals, parking, uniforms, and an internal employee referral bonus are available. Job Summary Coordinates patient meal service and special requests for the Catering to You Program, ensuring that employees are adequately trained and units are properly staffed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee systems and processes to accomplish the strategic and operational objectives of the Catering to You service. Provide alternatives to the menu as allowed on prescribed diets, addressing food allergies, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences. Interact with nursing staff and evaluate daily patient meal selection, tray completion, delivery, and retrieval processes. Respond to patient needs at all times, resolving concerns or complaints immediately and reporting to supervisor as appropriate. Adhere to facility confidentiality and patient rights policies, including HIPAA. Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO. Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food quality and safety. Complete required documentation, reports, and logs. Perform other duties as assigned.
