At SavATree, this position serves as a key member of the General Tree Care Team, performing high-quality tree care services including pruning, removals, and cabling. You will apply your expertise in climbing, pruning, and safety to ensure the health and beauty of clients landscapes, with additional responsibilities for guiding a team.

What Youll Do
- Lead and guide a team in general tree care operations.
- Perform high-quality tree care services, including pruning, removals, and cabling.
- Climb trees safely using proper techniques and equipment.
- Operate chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other essential tree care equipment.
- Apply ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety practices.
- Ensure proper pruning cuts to preserve tree health and structure.
- Identify hazards and conduct safety checks for all job tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure service and safety.
What Were Looking For
- Valid U.S. drivers license (CDL preferred).
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Proficiency in proper pruning techniques for various tree species.
- Strong knowledge of tree and shrub characteristics.
- Experience with safe tree climbing techniques, including climbing without spurs.
- Skilled in operating chainsaws, aerial lifts, and other tree care equipment.
- Familiarity with ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and ANSI Z safety guidelines.
- Ability to perform aerial rescues and apply diverse climbing techniques.
- Experience with tree removal using ropes or spikes.
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and perform aerial work outdoors.
