Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery (L&D) to join our healthcare team. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of L&D practices and the ability to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment.Shift Details:Scheduled: 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (36 hours per week)Guaranteed: 24 hours minimum per weekFlexibility to float to similar units or other locations as neededWeekend and on-call requirements will be determined by the facility.Job Responsibilities:Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in labor and delivery, ensuring safety and comfort.Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs, providing real-time assessment and interventions as needed.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.Assist in delivery processes, including emergency interventions when necessary.Qualifications:Minimum of 24 months of recent L&D experience within the last 12 months is required.Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse.Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AFM from approved vendors.No violations on the state license to practice.Must provide a valid driver's license for residency verification.Additional Information:Dress code: Navy scrubs.Registered nurses should be flexible with shifts, locations, and departments to facilitate prompt placement.No planned time off (RTO) exceeding 7 days and no requests during the first week of assignment will be accepted.We encourage interested candidates who meet these qualifications to apply and join our commitment to providing exemplary maternal and newborn care.
