CT Technologist - WellStar Vinings Health Park-Smyrna - Computed Tomography Tech - WellStar Vinings

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at WellStar Vinings Health Park. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of radiology experience, with specific expertise in computed tomography procedures. The role requires excellent communication skills for interacting with physicians, patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. You must be competent in all aspects of CT imaging, patient positioning, radiation safety, and quality control, and possess the necessary certifications upon hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans adhering to safety protocols and department standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and professional practices
• Conduct routine ACR and manufacturer-recommended quality control tests
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and radiation protection

Minimum Qualifications:

• Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology; experience in CT preferred
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support) upon hire
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service and multitasking skills
