Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Nampa ID you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in an educational setting you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and support a welcoming campus environment. This driving post requires a valid drivers license. You will provide exceptional customer service communicate professionally with students staff and visitors and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate campus personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings parking areas walkways and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity hazardous conditions maintenance concerns and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports incident documentation and shift logs while communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and campus contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
