This is a door-to-door petitioning job where you will collect signatures from residents and business owners/managers within a determined radius of a new business seeking a liquor or marijuana license.
Part of the process of getting a liquor/marijuana license requires the new business to "prove the needs and desires" of the community. This job requires you to drive to the area, collect signatures from business/owners and managers by going into the businesses and asking for the owner/manager, and going door-to-door in the neighborhood to collect the residential signatures.
Typically 125-150 signatures will suffice for a job. You will be paid per job and can work on your own time, as long as jobs are turned in by the due date. An average job can take 8-16 hours depending on how fast you are moving and how you are working the area.
