CT/X-Ray Technologist

Seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily focusing on computed tomography, with additional proficiency in X-ray imaging. The role involves providing high-quality imaging services to facilitate accurate diagnoses while ensuring patient safety and care standards.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot CT, CR, DR, and PACS systems to acquire clear diagnostic images.
• Perform a wide range of radiologic procedures, including IV insertions and injections for diagnostic purposes.
• Apply independent judgment to select appropriate imaging techniques based on clinical indications.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, patient confidentiality, and departmental policies.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills in verbal, written, and digital formats with patients and team members.
• Complete required annual education and departmental competencies, including bloodborne pathogens and infection control.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current state Radiology License and valid ARRT certification in CT and Radiography.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent CT/X-ray experience, with previous travel experience preferred.
• Have current proficiency in Meditech Expanse or similar HIS systems.
• Be willing to work flexible hours, including holidays, and consider additional duties during low census periods.
• Be self-motivated with own transportation and willingness to comply with scheduling and RTO policies.
