Medication Aide / Med Tech Job Overview As a Medication Aide / Med Tech at Sunrise Senior Living, you ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time Observe residents during and after medication passes Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief Report refusals or concerns promptly Complete narcotic counts per policy Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms Follow infection control and safety standards Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; age 18 or older Medication Administration certification CPR and First Aid certification Strong documentation and communication skills Senior care experience preferred Compensation Pay Range: $19.65 - $24.65 per hour Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision plans Life and Disability plans Retirement Savings Plans Employee Assistant Program / Discount Program Paid time off (PTO), sick time, and holiday pay myFlexPay for hourly pay within hours of a shift Tuition Reimbursement Bonus Opportunity Sunrise may offer discretionary bonuses based on performance.
