About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Pharmacy Technician with recent IV compounding experience to join our pharmacy team. This role supports inpatient pharmacy operations and/or hospital infusion center IV compounding, ensuring safe, accurate, and compliant medication preparation. The ideal candidate has recent hands-on IV compounding experience in a hospital setting, with additional experience in procurement, oncology infusion, ADC inventory, medication charges, and/or 340B preferred.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician licensure in CA

• IV compounding experience required

• IV compounding experience within the last year

• Experience in an inpatient pharmacy hospital setting and/or hospital infusion center performing IV compounding

• EPIC within 2 year required

Preferred Qualifications

• Procurement background

• Oncology infusion center experience

• Experience filling and doing inventory in ADC (Automated Dispensing Cabinet)

• Medication charges background from inpatient pharmacy

• 340B background

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound IV medications accurately and safely

• Adhere to USP <797>/<800> standards and infection control protocols

• Assist with ADC filling and inventory management

• Support medication charging processes from inpatient pharmacy

• Participate in procurement and inventory activities as needed

• Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare team members

• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements
