Ensuring patients are financially cleared prior to receiving services, the full-time Financial Clearance Specialist will verify insurance eligibility, obtain prior authorizations, and maintain accurate documentation in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Verify insurance coverage and benefit information through various channels, including payer portals and direct communication with insurers Submit prior authorization requests for services and monitor pending authorizations to ensure timely patient care Collaborate with clinical and scheduling teams to address coverage issues and communicate financial responsibilities to patients Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in healthcare, business, or related field preferred 1-3 years of experience in insurance verification, medical authorizations, or revenue cycle operations Knowledge of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care insurance plans Proficiency in EHR systems, payer portals, and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
