Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - NICU to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for neonates aged 29 weeks and above, including those requiring CPAP and HFNC.
• Administer key treatments such as phototherapy, IV therapy, and management of central lines.
• Float to stepdown NICU units as needed, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:3.
• Utilize electronic charting systems, specifically Cerner, for accurate patient record keeping.
• Employ knowledge of neonatal sepsis protocols and dosage calculations effectively.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory and radiology services.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with a minimum of 3 years NICU experience; no first-time travelers.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Proficient in NICU II and III skills, including telemonitoring and administering blood products.
• Experience with neonatal dosage calculations and treatments for neonatal abstinence syndrome.
• Ability to float to and from NICU and stepdown NICU units.
• Demonstrated experience with patient and family education in neonatal care.
