Locums Thoracic Surgery Physician in Midland, Michigan - 24 Hour Call, Robotic Cases

This thoracic surgery assignment offers dedicated call coverage with a full spectrum of thoracic procedures, including robotic surgery, supported by an experienced APP team.

Practice & Cases

• Primarily inpatient thoracic surgery coverage with emergency outpatient consults and follow-ups
• Full scope thoracic surgery including esophageal procedures, VATS, chest surgery, and wedge resections
• Robotic and open surgical cases
• APP support available with no supervision responsibilities

Schedule

• 24-hour call coverage
• Coverage structured around multi-day call blocks
• Vacation coverage opportunities throughout the year
• Orientation and proctoring completed before initial coverage

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Michigan license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Thoracic Surgery
• ACLS and BLS required

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
• Temporary privileges may be available to support faster onboarding
