JOB DESCRIPTION:
Work as part of the Student Services Application Support Team to develop and maintain the student management applications and systems through its lifecycle.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide guidance, training, and other support to district and campus staff members using the Student Management System.
2. Develop and maintain the master schedule for all elementary and intermediate schools. Provide training, guidance, and reports as needed to support campus staff members in this process.
3. Maintain the district's centralized course catalog utilized by all high schools and junior high schools.
4. Develop and maintain the PEIMS course equivalency table for PEIMS course reporting to the Texas Education Agency. Also support the PEIMS Manager with any course related errors regarding state reporting.
5. Provide support to high school and junior high staff members in troubleshooting scheduling, report cards, progress reports and transcript preparation and printing problems, as needed. Assist by providing training as needed.
6. Develop and maintain the master schedule, student schedules, progress reports and report cards for the Summer School Program. Advise and assist the Summer School Principals in administrative procedural matters in regard to student and grade record maintenance requirements.
7. Support the efforts of the Technology Department in implementing the overall Technology Plan for the district.
8. Maintain confidentiality.
9. Maintain regular attendance.
10. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in problem analysis
• Student Information System experience (preferably PowerSchool eSchoolPlus)
• Experience working on campus (preferably high school or junior high)

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Good communication skills, including training
• Ability to work with people with varying levels of technology experience
• Service oriented
• Ability to analyze issues and implement appropriate solutions
• Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data

PAY GRADE: TEC-5 - Minimum hourly rate - $31.37
