About the Position

Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 1:1 patient ratio for days and nights; 36-hour orientation; may be required to float to Antepartum and other units within the organization as needed

Highlights:

• Level 4 Labor & Delivery unit with approximately 450 deliveries per month
• Epic charting system experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Serving neonates, adolescents, and adult patient populations
• Two pre-approved time off periods available
• Parking permits available with multiple options ranging from surface lot to 24/7 garage access

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP (required); NCC C-EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced
• Proficiency in IV starts and IV maintenance
• Epic charting system experience required
• Valid compact or Ohio state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Previous travel experience preferred
• 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)

Additional Information:
