We Are Hiring Location: Sparta, TN Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Highlands Department: Med Surg Schedule: Full-time | Night What You Will Do Provide Direct Patient Care: Perform fundamental clinical and non-clinical care activities under the direct supervision of nursing staff. Support Mobility & Daily Living: Assist patients with movement, positioning, personal hygiene, and essential activities of daily living (ADLs). Monitor & Document Conditions: Observe and report any changes in patients' physical, mental, or emotional status to the nursing team while maintaining accurate medical records. Maintain Care Environment: Keep patient rooms clean and orderly while ensuring medical equipment is properly maintained and ready for use. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Aide preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
