Immigration Attorney (Spanish-speaking)

We are looking for a Spanish-speaking Immigration Attorney who shares those values and wants to build a long-term career with our firm. About the Position This attorney will manage their own caseload while working collaboratively with our experienced legal team. The ideal candidate is comfortable meeting with clients, developing legal strategies, preparing filings, and representing clients before the immigration agencies (USCIS, U.S. State Department, and the Immigration Court), and the Federal District Court. The position offers significant autonomy, opportunities for professional growth, and a compensation structure that rewards productivity. Responsibilities Conduct consultations with prospective clients Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and other immigration agencies Prepare and review immigration applications, petitions, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda Develop legal strategies for complex immigration matters Supervise and collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress Attend hearings, interviews, and other immigration proceedings Maintain accurate case notes and billing records Build strong client relationships through excellent communication and service Participate in firm meetings and continuing legal education Qualifications Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Excellent spoken and written Spanish and English Immigration law experience strongly preferred Experience with USCIS, U.S. State Department, and/or Immigration Court matters preferred Excellent legal writing and analytical skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Professional, dependable, and self-motivated A genuine respect for immigrants from all backgrounds The Right Person We are looking for someone who: Treats every client with dignity and compassion Is free from anti-immigrant bias and enjoys working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds Takes ownership of their cases Is proactive rather than waiting to be told what to do Works well with support staff Communicates clearly and professionally Wants to continuously improve as an attorney This position uses the same performance-based compensation model as our current associate attorneys. Rather than a fixed salary, attorneys receive 50% of the attorney fees collected on the matters they originate and handle , with the firm providing: Office space Experienced support staff Marketing and client intake Case management software Technology and administrative support Malpractice insurance Professional mentorship and collaboration This compensation structure allows motivated attorneys to build a highly rewarding practice while enjoying the support of an established and growing firm. Medical and dental insurance, if desired.
