Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse (Observation Unit) – Georgia

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 48 or 38 hours per week, 8 or 13-week assignment available. Holiday coverage is required.

• Provide critical care in a dynamic 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit located near the Emergency Department
• Work with a diverse patient population including medical patients, trauma overflow, and ED holds with varying acuity levels
• Fast-paced environment requiring adaptability to rapidly changing patient conditions and clinical needs
• Opportunity to float to other units based on competency and clinical expertise
• Gain experience managing lower to higher acuity patients in an acute care observation setting

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact state licensure eligible for Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU or observation unit experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification strongly preferred
• Professional badge photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
