The Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) is designed to provide a financial incentive for students in designated healthcare professions to complete degree requirements and obtain a commission in the Medical Corps.
Benefits
- 2, 3, and 4-year scholarships available.
- $20,000 signing bonus.
- 100% tuition coverage.
- Monthly stipend of over $2,900 to spend as you like.
- All educationally required school fees (excluding housing and meals) are paid.
- Full reimbursement for required books, supplies, and equipment.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must complete your degree by age 42.
- Must pass an entry medical examination.
- Must be enrolled in or accepted into a medical school.
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above to apply.
- Must complete studies as a full-time student attending all normal school sessions (2 semesters or 3 quarters).
- Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher after selection.
