Work Environment\nThis role is situated in a remote community health clinic setting, allowing for flexibility and the capacity to reach clients from various locations. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to create tailored treatment plans for clients, ensuring they receive the most effective care based on their unique needs. \n
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy. Tailor these approaches to address the diverse challenges faced by clients. \n
- Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with ethical standards, using electronic medical record (EMR) systems to track progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. This ensures accountability and promotes continuity of care. \n
- Actively participate in team meetings and case consultations, contributing your insights and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to foster an integrated care approach. \n
- Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to remain current on research best practices in mental health. \n
- Provide guidance and support for clients facing crises, ensuring they feel safe and secure during distressing moments. \n
Our client base is incredibly diverse, including individuals, couples, and families seeking assistance with a wide range of mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, among others. The ability to address such varied complexities requires sensitivity and a robust therapeutic skill set.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. \n
- Active, unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia. \n
- At least 2 years of meaningful experience providing counseling services, preferably within a clinical setting. \n
- In-depth understanding of ethical guidelines and legal regulations that govern counseling practices. \n
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse clientele. \n
- Strong team collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary setting. \n
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and proficiency in using technology for documentation. \n

- Specialization in trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, family therapy, or couples therapy is highly valued. \n
- Experience working in a community-based setting will be considered an asset. \n
