Risk Manager

Our client, in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Risk Manager to join their team. As a Risk Manager, you will be part of the Risk Management Department supporting the organization's risk mitigation and insurance programs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Onsite in White Plains, New York

Contract on W2

What's the Job?

• Design, negotiate, and administer comprehensive commercial insurance programs including general liability, product liability, and environmental liability.

• Oversee casualty claims, partner with third-party administrators, and manage relationships with insurance carriers and brokers.

• Conduct risk assessments of manufacturing facilities and collaborate with safety and operations teams to identify loss prevention opportunities.

• Develop and monitor insurance budgets, analyze risk metrics, and prepare reports for executive leadership.

• Manage regulatory compliance, maintain documentation, and support audits and regulatory inquiries.

What's Needed?

• 7+ years of progressive experience in risk management, insurance, or casualty management.

• Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments.

• Proven ability to manage large deductible, self-insured, or captive insurance programs.

• Strong knowledge of casualty insurance principles, liability claims management, and manufacturing safety practices.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
