Description Location 4330 Cedar Lake Rd S,Minneapolis, MN, 55416,United States Base Pay $21.00 / Hour Employee Type Part Time Non Exempt Position Summary The Kosher Lunch Program Assistant is responsible for assisting the Enrichment Program Coordinator with the Kosher Lunch program that operates from the St. Louis Park Sabes Center. Assists in managing a lunch program for senior citizens Prepare distribution of Kosher lunch to program participants Maintain daily records of Kosher lunch program Assist Enrichment Program Coordinator with other administrative tasks as assigned Requirements Minimum Qualifications Desire to engage with senior citizens Knowledge of Kosher practices, Jewish culture and traditions, or a willingness to learn Valid Driver’s License to assist with submitting bank deposit on Friday afternoons Commitment to equity, diversity, environmental stewardship, and social justice Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills Positive attitude and dedication to providing exceptional customer service Commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards Adhere to policies related to boundaries with participants Attend required abuse risk management training Adhere to procedures related to managing high risk activities and supervising participants Report inappropriate behaviors and policy violations Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a part-time position, working approximately 5-6 hours per week on Tuesdays and Fridays over the lunch period (11:30 am to 1:30 pm).
