We are recruiting for part time and full time Stewards on 2nd shift at locations around Kalamazoo, MI.
The Steward role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of busy hospitality environments such as restaurants, hotels, and event venues. Working closely within a small team, stewards manage cleaning tasks, maintain equipment, and assist with dish support to ensure high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. Interaction with guests is minimal, allowing the steward to focus on backend operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties to maintain hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Collaborate effectively within a small team to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including dishwashers
- Provide support with dishwashing and related dish support duties
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in hospitality or food service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated teamwork abilities
- Reliable and punctual
