Are you the compliance leader who keeps hazmat fleets and chemical sites audit-ready?
If your background blends FMCSA/PHMSA transportation safety with chemical facility environmental compliance, read on. This role owns both sides of the operation—over-the-road and on-site—across multiple locations.
Must-have foundation- Direct experience managing safety programs for a hazardous materials transportation fleet (not general trucking or warehouse-only safety).

- Hours of Service compliance
- DOT inspections and CSA BASIC monitoring
- Hazmat driver training and regulatory compliance
- SARA Tier II reporting
- Hazard Communication programs
- EPA inspections and compliance
- SPCC plans
- Chemical storage and handling regulations
- DOT audits
- EPA inspections
- OSHA inspections
- Industry compliance programs (ACD Responsible Distribution or similar)
- Standardize and implement transportation and facility programs across multiple terminals/facilities in multiple states.
- Root cause investigations
- Safety program development
- Driver coaching and accountability programs
- Data-driven safety performance monitoring
- $75,000/year - $95,000/year (based on experience)
