We are looking for experienced CDL-B or Better Driver and Medical Technician to join our team at ourBaton Rouge, LA sitefor afull-time position . CORE is willing to train on the Medical Technician duties. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Ability to safely operate a Class B CDL Mobile Clinic Box Truck Ability to work independently Ability to demonstrate: organizational skills, efficiency in all task and attention to detail Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical information. Ability to effectively present information, both verbal and written. Demonstrated ability to use computer and telephone. Knowledge of current diagnostic tests, their functions, and normal results. Has consistently demonstrated service-oriented performance. Must adhere to the service expectations of CORE, LLC. DUTIES Adheres to all CORE, LLC policies and procedures. Adheres to departmental Quality Assurance procedures. Obtains basic history, and medical information, and take vital signs Administers intramuscular injections under authorization and supervision of physician in accordance with State of Louisiana law and prevailing CORE, LLC agreements and protocols. Performs collection of vital signs, Performs visual acuity and color testing. Performs urine specimen collection following DOT regulations and/or chain of custody requirements. Performs 12 lead EKGs. Performs other duties as required POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Current National Phlebotomy Certification (preferred) Current CPR/BLS Certification (preferred) Pass DISA Drug and Alcohol Screening TWIC Card (preferred) Basic Orientation Plus from Alliance Safety Council (preferred) CDL Class B or Better (required) Must have available transportation with up to date insurance coverage Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with client and employees CORE, CHN, and our subsidiaries are Equal Opportunity Employers.
