This role is pivotal in driving future innovative features and improvements that cater to both consumers and developers, using a deep understanding of product design principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product design, with an emphasis on creating intuitive, engaging user interfaces for both web and mobile platforms.Key responsibilitiesDistilling insights from user needs and model research into clear product directionsDesigning and prototyping interfaces for existing Genmo web application and future products and platformsSpecifying and evaluating model behavior and its impact on the user experience, working closely with our research effortsCollaborating closely with research, engineering, and product teams to realize the vision of Genmo's AI-powered video generation toolUpholding and advancing the visual consistency and user experience quality across all platforms to create unique, delightful user experiencesQualifications5+ years proven experience in product design, particularly for web and mobile interfaces.Must have:Strong ownership mindset to identify and lead design projects end-to-end that will have the most impact on user experience and Genmo overallExperience with consumer applications and a strong understanding of how design impacts user engagement in both the short and long termPrior experience working in a small design team environmentCare about building a safe, exciting future with a transformative technologyIdeal candidate will have:Previous founding designer experiencePrevious experience in video creation or working within the video production industryFrontend development experience or interest/passion (e.g., HTML/CSS, React)Animation, illustration, or brand design experience are a bonusGenmo is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
