Commercial Flooring Foreman

Jack Laurie Group is growing in Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana, and we're looking for an experienced Commercial Flooring Foreman to lead installation crews on commercial projects throughout Fort Wayne and the surrounding communities. From schools and healthcare facilities to office buildings, retail spaces, and industrial projects, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional flooring installations while helping develop the next generation of installers.

Location: Fort Wayne, IN (Serving Northeast Indiana and surrounding areas)

Pay: $22.00-$30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Hours vary based on project needs

Travel: Primarily local and regional travel with occasional overnight travel as projects require

As a Commercial Flooring Foreman, you'll lead crews on commercial flooring projects while ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently, and with outstanding craftsmanship.

Your responsibilities include:

• Lead and supervise commercial flooring installation crews.
  

• Install and oversee installation of:
  

  • Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)
    

  • Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)
    

  • Sheet Vinyl
    

  • Carpet Tile
    

  • Stretch/Broadloom Carpet
    

  • Other commercial flooring systems
    

• Coordinate daily jobsite activities to keep projects moving on schedule.
  

• Ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  

• Communicate with Project Managers, General Contractors, customers, and field personnel.
  

• Organize materials, equipment, and manpower for maximum productivity.
  

• Mentor and train installers to help build stronger crews.
  

• Resolve jobsite challenges quickly and professionally.
  

• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
  

We're looking for someone who leads by example and enjoys building successful teams.

Qualifications include:

• 3+ years of commercial flooring installation experience.
  

• Previous Foreman, Lead Installer, or Crew Leader experience.
  

• Experience with multiple commercial flooring systems.
  

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  

• Ability to read plans and coordinate field operations.
  

• Commitment to craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
  

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  

• Willingness to travel throughout Fort Wayne, Northeast Indiana, and surrounding regional markets, with occasional overnight travel when needed.
