Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Registered Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: BLS Provider, Respiratory Care Practitioner Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist Must-Have: - Critical thinking skills - Decisive judgment - Ability to work with minimal supervision Description: Provides evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Assesses patients for the appropriate type and frequency of treatment. Develops a plan of care based on patient diagnosis. Implements and monitors patient care plans and equipment. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition. Performs advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluates respiratory practice and the administration of medications and treatments based on patient outcomes. Educates patients and families about health conditions. Provides information about community support groups and other available programs. Responds to emergency resuscitation team codes. Requires working in a stressful environment.
