Job Summary Pima County’s Department of Finance and Risk Management seeks a dynamic, motivated part‑time intern for the Grants Finance Division. The intern will support grant financial activities for County departments, gaining hands‑on experience with grant budgeting, financial reporting, data analysis, and compliance support. Position Details Job Type: Unclassified Classification: 1946 - Intern Salary Grade: 1 Location: In‑person, in‑office Key Responsibilities Assist with extracting and analyzing grant data using Excel and other financial systems. Support grant budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance activities. Collaborate with team members in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. Gain insight into the full lifecycle of grant financial management. Minimum Qualifications Recent graduate or current sophomore, junior, or senior at an accredited college or university with a major in accounting, finance, business analytics, or a closely related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience or coursework related to public sector finance or grant administration. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additional Information Some positions may require a valid Arizona Class D driver license. A pre‑employment background check will be conducted.
