Responsibilities Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence‑based nursing care tailored to the unique physiological and psychological needs of laboring, delivering, and postpartum mothers, as well as their newborns. Skillfully manage and prioritize patient care activities, balancing the dynamic and often rapid changes in labor with the comfort and emotional support of the patient and her family. Serve as a dedicated advocate for patients’ needs, ensuring a holistic approach to care that encompasses physical, emotional, and cultural aspects of birth.
