What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with campus contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, check credentials and/or permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing required reports related to patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
