This role is responsible for ensuring all facilities are safe, well-maintained, properly staffed, and aligned with LJA standards while managing teams, vendors, budgets, and preventative maintenance programs. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver efficient, cost-effective facility operations that support employee-owners and clients.A typical day might include:Leading, coaching, and supporting facilities staff across multiple LJA office locations through regular check-ins, goal setting, and performance managementOverseeing facility operations such as repairs, remodels, buildouts, preventative maintenance, and service desk ticket resolution while ensuring SLAs and KPIs are metPartnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to address facility needs, manage projects, review invoices, and support budget and capital planningResponding to facility, safety, or weather-related incidents and coordinating with the safety team on inspections, emergency plans, and recovery proceduresManaging all invoices, expenses, time approval for all direct reportsContinuously provide training to Facilities teamOverseeing the Facilities budget for offices within scope anticipating risk and exceptionsOverseeing vendor sourcing and management reviewing performance through SLA's, KPI's and QBR's.Providing FreshService KPI data reporting and creation of presentations for leadershipProviding National Facilities Manager with updates and trends on teams workload for capacity planningPerforming monthly audits and quarterly inspections providing National Facilities Manager with updates and holding direct reports accountableAbility to travel both within and outside of the assigned regionCo-leading presentations for monthly Team Lead MeetingRequired education/license/certifications:High School Diploma, Bachelors degree preferred in FM, Construction, RE6+ years of experience as facility or construction manager including leading and managing teams across multiple locationsRequired qualifications:Proven experience building, leading, and managing facilities teams across multiple locations.Strong knowledge of facilities operations, preventative maintenance programs, and vendor managementProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and service desk ticketing systemsWorking knowledge of OSHA standards and general safety practicesStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritize and organize work across various locationsAbility to collaborate with functional and cross-functional partnersExperience in supporting corporate office environmentsIn-depth knowledge of multi-site facilities operationsExperience developing budgets, managing capital expenditures, and overseeing RFPs and contractsIdeally, you should also have:A Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Corporate Real Estate, or Project ManagementHands-on ability to use tools for repairs and routine maintenance tasksA proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate client and stakeholder needsPhysical requirements:Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, walk, kneel, push/pull, stand for extended periods, and work on laddersProfessional appearanceOther:Pass background checks, drug screenings, and maintain ongoing eligibility for company travel and security access.Level up with LJA:Generous Time Off: PTO, paid holidays, and a full office closure between Christmas and New Year's.Comprehensive Benefits: Multiple plan options for health, dental, and pets.
