Registered Nurse - Forensic Nursing - Full-Time

Role Overview: Provides independent nursing care in a clinical setting, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations. Manages routine and complex care, plans long-term goals, and delegates tasks to care providers to ensure effective patient management. Key Responsibilities Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients. Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families according to their level of practice. Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately. Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers, identifying issues and resources. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred. Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
