About the Role:

Gateway Credit Union is looking for a friendly and motivated Member Service Representative to join our team in Clarksville, TN! In this role, you'll be the face of our credit union — building meaningful relationships with members and helping them navigate their financial needs with confidence and care.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist members in-person, by phone, and through digital channels with a positive, professional attitude
• Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers accurately and efficiently
• Open new member accounts, CDs, and savings products while explaining features and benefits
• Identify member needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services
• Resolve member inquiries, concerns, and account issues with a focus on first-contact resolution
• Maintain compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and federal and state regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in customer service, banking, or a financial institution preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills with a member-first, service-oriented mindset
• Basic math proficiency and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced branch environment
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn banking software quickly
