Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.What are we looking for?The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will work from the local office and is responsible for handling more complex geotechnical reports, from inception to completion and through the proposal phase all the way to the reporting phase. The position will require that the candidate be responsible for assisting in reviewing reports prepared by other staff members and offer mentorship to more junior level staff. The position will also consist of client interaction and communication at the beginning and throught the project phasing. The position assumes that the incumbent has both the mental and physical requirements to carry out the above defined duties.Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:BS in Civil, Geological, or Geotechnical Engineering requiredMinimum of8 - 10years of geotechnical engineering experience requiredExcellent understanding and knowledge of geotechnical engineering and related disciplines with the ability and desire to provide creative and practical solutions to meet the client’s needsProfessional Engineer (P.E.) registration in Columbus highly preferredor the ability to obtain one within 6 months of employmentExperience working with gINT or similar software such as Open GroundExcellent communication and organizational skills are essentialMust speak and write English fluentlyValid Driver's License and reliable driving record requiredIntertek: Total Quality.
