AI Business Transformation Product Manager - Payments

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise product, technology, or transformation roles.
• 5+ years leading large-scale organizational change across 25 or more teams in matrixed environments.
• Demonstrated ability to use structured processes to achieve measurable outcomes, not merely deliverables.
• AI product literacy, including the ability to assess model performance, evaluation methods, bias, drift, and failure modes; building models is not required.
• Ability to decompose workflows into human, AI, and shared steps with sound reasoning.
• Fluency in organizational analytics, including interpreting and challenging process-mining outputs, ONA graphs, and adoption telemetry.
• Ability to translate AI-related changes into risk and control requirements, including 3LOD, model risk management, and financial-services regulations.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders and coaching executive sponsors through ambiguity and gaps in AI literacy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate sessions for audiences of 5 to 50 or more across executive and frontline levels.
• Experience with scaled agile delivery frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS, or equivalents.
• Broad knowledge of AI approaches, such as machine learning, deep learning, agentic workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation, with deep expertise in one or two areas.
• Hands-on comfort with modern IDEs and AI coding assistants or agents to support product management and improve productivity, subject to our approved tools and usage guidelines.
• Preferred: Prosci ADKAR certification or equivalent.
• Preferred: Agile coaching credentials such as SPC, CSP, or ICP-ACC, and/or organizational design credentials.
• Preferred: Experience in payments, merchant acquiring, or other regulated financial services.
• Preferred: Working knowledge of AI governance frameworks, guardrails, and verification and validation strategies for improving prediction accuracy, reducing hallucinations, and ensuring agents perform only authorized operations.
• Preferred: Experience building change communities of practice or change champion networks.

• Partner with senior leaders to define Merchant Services business outcomes, including growth, client experience, efficiency, and risk reduction, and turn them into a transformation agenda.
• Identify high-value opportunities and apply AI, automation, and operating-model changes to deliver measurable results; challenge work that lacks a clear business case.
• Prioritize and sequence initiatives according to business value and the organizations capacity for change.
• Lead adoption strategies for new capabilities, from aligning leaders through changing and reinforcing frontline behaviors.
• Use data such as telemetry, surveys, process insights, and ONA where applicable to identify adoption barriers and develop targeted interventions.
• Define and manage success measures linked to outcomes, connecting capability deployment and behavior change with business impact.
• Redesign workflows for effective human-AI collaboration, with clear handoffs, escalation routes, and control points.
• Work with risk, compliance, and controls teams to incorporate 3LOD, model risk, and regulatory requirements into operating models from the outset.
• Lead organizational design changes needed to sustain new operating models, including changes to roles, skills, spans of control, and role creation or retirement.
• Equip senior sponsors with clear narratives and communications, and translate technical performance into adoption and business implications.
• Build transformation capabilities through training, labs, coaching, and change champions; manage a backlog, conduct retrospectives, and oversee change load across the portfolio.
